Hamster HideOut

I decide to made a hamster hideout for future little pet.

Here is the pattern.

Materials Needed
Peaches & Crème worsted weight cotton Article 930
Size G/6 or 4.0mm crochet hook

This part is worked in the round

Rnd 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sl st in first sc, to join.
Rnd 2: ch 1, 2 sc in ea sc around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (12 sc)
Rnd 3: ch 1, *sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc* around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (18 sc)
Rnd 4: ch 1, *sc in ea of next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc* around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (24 sc)
Rnd 5: ch 1, *sc in ea of next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc* around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (30 sc)
Rnd 6: ch 1, *sc in ea of next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc* around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (36 sc)
Rnd 7: ch 1, *sc in ea of next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc* around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (42 sc)
Rnd 8: ch 1, *sc in ea of next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc* around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (48 sc)
Rnd 9: ch 1, *sc in ea of next 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc* around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (54 sc)
Rnd 10: ch 1, *sc in ea of next 8 sc, 2 sc in next sc* around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (60 sc)
Rnd 11: Ch 1, sc in each of the next 60 st in the back loop, Sl st in the first sc to join
Rnd 12 to 15: Ch 1 sc in 60 sts, Sl st in the first sc to join

This section is worked in Rows; this will be the opening of the hamster hideout.

Row 16 to 21: Ch 1, Sc in each of the next 50 st, turn

This section is worked in the round

Row 22: Ch 1, Sc in each of the next 50 St, do not turn, Ch 10 join to the other side with a Sl st, to form the round again.

Rnd 23 to 26: Ch1 sc in each of the 60 st, sl in the first sc to join.
Rnd 27: ch 1, *sc in ea of next 8 sc, sc next 2 sts tog * around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (54 sc)
Rnd 29: ch 1, *sc in ea of next 7 sc, sc next 2 sts tog * around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (48 sc)
Rnd 30: ch 1, *sc in ea of next 6 sc, sc next 2 sts tog * around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (42 sc)
Rnd 31: ch 1, *sc in ea of next 5 sc, sc next 2 sts tog * around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (36 sc)
Rnd 32: ch 1, *sc in ea of next 4 sc, sc next 2 sts tog * around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (30 sc)
Rnd 33: ch 1, *sc in ea of next 3 sc, sc next 2 sts tog * around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (24 sc)
Rnd 34: ch 1, *sc in ea of next 2 sc, sc next 2 sts tog * around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (18 sc)
Rnd 35: ch 1, *sc in ea of next 1 sc, sc next 2 sts tog * around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (12 sc)
Rnd 36: ch 1, *sc next 2 sts tog * around. Sl st in first sc, to join. (6 sc)

Close up opening and weave in ends.

Block: I wash it gently in hot water and stuff grocery bags and shape the hideout.

Just a quick note to remind that cavies should never be given wool of any kind as they tend to chew everything and wool will kill them because they cannot digest or pass it.
